Appartment was nice and clean, very comfortable. Great place as so very close to Lygon St Cafe's and heart of the City..
Location -- within walking distance of good food.
I thought it strange that there were no reception staff at all. I found the TV system with four remotes awkward. You need to have a paper there explaining how to operate the system if you have four remotes.
Great staff nothing was too much trouble and always willing to help. Great Location (Just down from Lygon st!!!) It was quiet and warm in the room. Good undercover parking and we liked the remote key and the texted information...great idea! Good security.
The room was clean and tidy but it really needs a face lift. It was looking a bit tired guys. Some curtains were torn. Tart the place up tastefully and you'll have a winner there!!!
Apartments are well set up. Communication by text code was a great idea. Great location and clean and easy to live in. The price is right and the location great.
Carpet a bit tacky! Needs new carpet.
No reception no access to the building on arrival having to find a public telephone to ring the contact number on the door. Access codes could have been sent to me via e-mail
It is well situated close to exciting Lygon Street. My first impressions from the outside were not great but I was pleasantly surprised by the size and the relative comfort of the unit.
I was unable to get the TV started and could not contact the manager to get help. However the person in the unit next door was kind enough to help me.
We liked the apartment location and it was clean and had parking on-site and accomodated four persons. Two were on a fold out bed. Very expensive though at nearly 200 a night. I think perhaps around 120 would be the correct fee for the age of the apartment and budget furnishing etc., but in melbourne everywhere for family is.
Only stayed in the apartment for a short time..was mainly a bed for the night for my wife and I. Didn't see the apartment manager, only spoke to him via phone to get details on how to get into apartment, we were not aware there was no front desk to speak to someone in person. Otherwise the apartment was clean and tidy and would stay again. Was a good location and handy for most of the things we needed to do during our short stay.
would have been so much easier if we had of been told on how we were meant to have accessed the apartment prior to arriving. If we were to stay indoors for a lengthy time a newer and larger television would be better..the TV was so small and old. The pillows were so bad to sleep on they were like pancakes, need to invest in more substantial pillows..makes sense of why wife take her own pillow.
Proximity to Melbourne Uni
Noisy, but that was probably due to the road works on Elgin St which had large metal slabs across the road.
It is well located near Melbourne Museum and Chinatown. Convenient for family. The kitchen is well equiped. There's a laundry. You can find a "Woolworth" supermarket 200m. Carpark is free.
During our stay it was sometimes noisy because of some works in the street.
The roof leaked leaving the carpet wet and smelly for our entire stay.
Beds were comfy, great location, clean
Excellent location. Off road parking free.
Drab and unpleasant foyer and entry.
Quite comfortable, clean, but could do with an update. Very comfy bed, great location, for the money i felt it was very good value
Only grumble I could give is that not impressed with the idea of filling out registration form and leaving credit card details on paper, when you have cleaning staff coming into room when we leave, too me that is not very secure with such important information. Nothing against your staff but credit card fraud and identity issues are just so prevalant now, and as you have all details from online booking, do not see that form is necessary. Better way would be to get client to fill out online form for your records, when making booking.
Secure off street parking Easy access Close to activities we needed to be at
